What Paramount+ costs in 2026
Paramount+ reshuffled its plans in 2026 and dropped the annual option. There are three monthly plans, each with a seven-day trial:

Paramount+ and sharing: no rule, no check
Netflix and Disney+ have regulated sharing outside the household and sell an extra member. Paramount+ has not done so in Germany. The terms mention a household, but in our experience it is not enforced technically — an account with two or four streams can be used in different places without any confirmation prompt. That may change: in the US, Paramount began tightening account checks in 2025.
For you this means: a shared Paramount+ slot is less conspicuous day to day than a Netflix one. But there is also no official route at €6.99 with zero risk.

Against the Standard plan the shared slot saves €75.36 a year; against the ad-supported plan €27.36. Shared slots normally sit in a Standard or Premium group — so without ads. That is the real difference from the Basic plan: pay €5.99 and you watch ads; pay €3.71 and you don’t.
Which route fits
- One series, then cancel? The seven-day trial plus a month of Basic at €5.99 — nothing simpler.
- You watch regularly, on your own? The shared slot at €3.71 is the cheapest ad-free option.
- Four of you in one household? Premium with four streams at €12.99 — €3.25 per person, with no dependence on a group.
- 4K matters to you? Look for a Premium group or book Premium yourself; Basic and Standard deliver Full HD.
What you accept with a shared slot
- You share the streams. A Standard group has two simultaneous streams for all members. If two others are watching, you wait. Premium groups have four.
- You are not the account holder. Profile and watchlist are yours; e-mail and payment details are not.
- The rules may change. If Paramount+ introduces household checks, the slot can fail. GamsGo then provides a replacement — that is what sets the platform apart from buying privately.
- No VPN as a workaround. Should checks arrive, a VPN will not help; it will stand out.

Do I get my own profile?
Yes. Paramount+ allows up to six profiles per account, each with its own watchlist and history.
Can I download?
In Standard and Premium groups, yes; on the Basic plan, no.
Is Paramount+ via Sky or Amazon the same thing?
The catalogue is the same, the prices are not always. Via Amazon Channels, Paramount+ costs €7.99 without ads; for Sky Cinema customers it is included at times. The shared slot refers to a direct Paramount+ account.
What is worth watching?
The originals (the Yellowstone universe, Star Trek, Halo, Tulsa King) and the Paramount film library. If you only want one title, the trial serves you better than any plan.
Other platforms and services
