What Deezer costs in 2026
Deezer has dropped its free, ad-supported tier in Germany; listening requires a subscription. Current prices:

The first month is free on every plan. Lossless FLAC has been included in every plan since 2024; there is no separate HiFi tier any more.
What GamsGo charges for Deezer
GamsGo sells a slot in a Deezer Family plan. You receive the credentials of an account that is already a member of a Family group – not your own account, and no invitation to your e-mail address. The terms:

The slot is renewable and auto-renewal can be switched off. If access fails, GamsGo replaces it for the remaining term; the “GamsCare+” refund protection costs extra.

The GamsGo slot is the cheapest route, but only €4.49 a year cheaper than a fully occupied Family plan. With Deezer the question is less about price and more about whether you have five people to share with.
What Deezer requires for Family
Deezer describes Family as a plan for people who live together. We are not aware of a regular address check like Spotify’s, and every member listens with their own account, library, playlists and recommendations. The owner sees the members, not their listening history. That is exactly what a GamsGo slot does not give you: there you share a profile that someone may have used before you.
Which route fits
- You can find five people? Buy Family, €3.33 per person, each with their own account. Best route.
- You can find one person? Duo at €15.99 is €8 a head – dearer than the GamsGo slot, but with your own account.
- You are on your own? The shared slot at €2.96 saves €72.50 a year against the Premium annual plan. With the limitations below.
- You are a student? Student at €5.99 is the cheapest route to an account of your own.
What you accept with a shared slot
- Someone else’s account. Playlists, favourites and listening history live in an account that is not yours. When the slot ends, it is all gone. Back up playlists with a transfer service first.
- Shared recommendations. If the previous user listened to German Schlager, Deezer will recommend Schlager to you. You do not get your own profile in the Family group.
- Group changes. If the Family group is set up afresh, you get new credentials and have to sign in again on every device.
- Terms of use. Deezer does not allow sharing with strangers; in the worst case the account is suspended. It is not a criminal matter.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get FLAC quality through the shared slot?
Yes, Family includes the same quality as Premium: lossless up to 16-bit / 44.1 kHz.
Can I listen offline?
Yes, downloads are tied to the account and work on your phone as usual. When the slot ends, the downloads disappear.
Why is Deezer Free not available in Germany?
Deezer has discontinued its ad-supported tier there. Free listening means Spotify Free or YouTube.
What about Deezer bundled with a mobile contract?
Deutsche Telekom bundles Deezer with some mobile plans. If you have one, you need none of the routes described here.
Other music services and platforms
