What Canva costs in 2026
Canva sells Pro expressly for a single person; for several users there is Business. The prices:

What GamsGo charges for Canva – and what you get
GamsGo lists the offer as “Education (shared)”. You receive the credentials of an account that is a member of a Canva for Education team. Pro features are included there; Canva provides them to schools free of charge. The terms:

According to GamsGo the access runs on PC and Mac; the mobile apps are not mentioned.
Why the education account is the catch
Canva grants education accounts free of charge to verified teachers and schools. A seat in such a team is not meant for resale, and Canva re-verifies education accounts regularly. If the team is caught, every member loses access at the same time – along with every design stored there. With Adobe or Microsoft, GamsGo sells seats in regularly paid plans; here it is an account that really belongs to a school. GamsGo does replace failed access for the remaining term, but that does not bring your designs back.

€74 a year saved against Pro – that is a lot. But unlike music or series, with Canva your work lives inside the account. A suspended account costs you not just access but your files.
Which route fits
- You occasionally design posts, invitations, presentations? Canva Free is enough. The background remover and Magic Resize are missing; everything else is there.
- You work for clients or your own business? Pro at €110 a year. Your designs are yours, brand kits included, no suspension risk.
- You need Pro tools for a single project? One month of GamsGo at €3.99 – export the designs as PDF and PNG at the end, and the potential loss is manageable.
- You are a teacher or student? Apply for Canva for Education officially, free and legitimate.
What you accept with a shared account
- Someone else’s account, someone else’s designs. Every team member sees designs stored in team folders. Confidential client drafts have no place there.
- Education labelling. The account is run as a school account; some functions such as selling through Canva Print or brand approvals are restricted.
- No entitlement to tools. Canva can change the feature set of education accounts at any time, independently of GamsGo.
- Terms of use. Education accounts are reserved for teaching. A breach leads to suspension; it is not a criminal matter.
Frequently asked questions
Do I get all Pro features with the education account?
Largely: background remover, Magic Resize, premium templates and the AI tools are included. Quotas for AI features may differ.
Can I take my designs with me when access ends?
Only as exports. Editable Canva files cannot be moved to another account, except via a share link while the account is alive.
Isn’t Canva Pro available at a discount?
Canva gives Pro free to non-profits and to students through their universities. Everyone else pays list price; promotions usually appear towards the end of the year.
What about Canva Teams?
The old plan is now called Business and costs €170 per person per year. Sharing is built in there, but every person pays.
Other software and platforms
