Sharing Adobe Creative Cloud: €16.53 on GamsGo against €77.99 – and why it is a special case

In short: A shared Adobe Creative Cloud slot on GamsGo costs €16.53 a month. Adobe itself charges €77.99 for Creative Cloud Pro (all apps) on an annual plan and €61.95 for Creative Cloud Standard. The gap is the largest in our whole series – but Adobe accounts are single-user licences, and sharing clearly breaches the terms. We run the numbers and say who it suits.

Prices below are for Germany, where GamsGo bills in euros. Adobe pricing differs by country – check your own market before comparing.

What Adobe Creative Cloud costs in 2026

Adobe restructured its plans in 2025. For individuals there are now:

Plan per month (annual) per month (cancel anytime) per year Includes
Creative Cloud Pro €77.99 €116.99 €935.88 (prepaid €905.92) all apps, AI credits, web and mobile apps
Creative Cloud Standard €61.95 €92.94 €743.40 all desktop apps, fewer AI features
Photography plan (1 TB) €23.79 €285.48 Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic
Single app (e.g. Photoshop) from €26.17 from €314.04 one app
Pro for students and teachers €19.34 (1st year) €232.08 all apps, proof required

Anyone who had an “All Apps” plan before the change keeps it in Germany at the old price for now.

Why Adobe is a different case from Netflix

Streaming plans are designed for several people; Adobe plans are not. A Creative Cloud licence is for one person, may be installed on two machines and run on one at a time. A shared slot here means signing in with the credentials of someone else’s Adobe account. Three consequences:

  • Terms of use. Adobe explicitly prohibits sharing individual plans. If it is noticed, Adobe suspends the account – for everyone in the group.
  • Device limit. When a second group member signs in, the first may be kicked out of the session (“You have been signed out”). Groups with more than two active users only work if not everyone is working at the same time.
  • Cloud storage and AI credits are shared. Your files sit in the cloud storage of someone else’s account – a deal-breaker for professional work. The monthly AI credits are shared by the group.

The arithmetic side by side

Route per month per year risk
Creative Cloud Pro (annual) €77.99 €935.88 none
Creative Cloud Standard (annual) €61.95 €743.40 none
Photography plan 1 TB €23.79 €285.48 none, Photoshop/Lightroom only
Pro for students €19.34 €232.08 none, proof required
Shared slot on GamsGo €16.53 €198.36 high – see above

Against Creative Cloud Pro the shared slot saves €737.52 a year. That is the largest sum in our series – and the reason the offer is in demand despite all the caveats.

Who it suits – and who it doesn’t

  • Occasional private use – a few images a month, a flyer, a short video: the shared slot is enough if you can live with the risk of a suspension and nothing important lives only in the cloud.
  • Students and teachers: Pro at €19.34 in the first year is only €2.81 more than the shared slot – and legal, with your own storage and credits. Clear recommendation.
  • Photos only? The Photography plan at €23.79 with 1 TB storage is the better route than a shared full suite.
  • Professional use: No. Client projects on someone else’s account are a liability and data-protection problem, regardless of price.
  • No need for Adobe at all? Affinity (Photo, Designer, Publisher) has been free since late 2025, DaVinci Resolve replaces Premiere for most people, GIMP and Inkscape are open source. For many private users that is the real answer to Adobe’s pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my own files and settings?
Locally, yes. Anything you store in Adobe’s cloud sits in the group account and is gone after a group change – so back up locally.

Do I get the AI features (Firefly, Generative Fill)?
Within the credits the group account has. Once they are used up, everyone waits for the next month.

What happens if Adobe suspends the group?
Access ends. GamsGo provides a replacement slot; files in the suspended account’s cloud are no longer reachable.

Are there Adobe alternatives on GamsGo?
Yes: Canva Pro at €2.92 (team feature officially intended, hence unproblematic) and CapCut Pro at €7.49.

Other platforms and services

Spliiit, Sharesub, GoSplit and CooSub work in a similar way. With Microsoft 365 sharing is officially intended and therefore the better case. All services with prices are in our GamsGo overview.

Our verdict: Adobe is the service with the biggest saving and the biggest catch. Students and photographers have legal routes that are almost as cheap. A private user who only needs Photoshop occasionally can take the slot – but should know it is not a family plan, it is a shared password.
